Mobile AI App – Remote, US
Senior Product Designer
First 2–4 weeks:
- Dive into our product materials (Figma, Notion, Miro) to understand existing logic and emotional context
- Propose UX improvements for the MVP based on real user scenarios and product goals
- Design full-fidelity UI screens with accessibility and emotional resonance in mind
- Propose enhancements for our design system: component hierarchy, UI kit structure, design tokens
- Own and evolve our cross-platform design system (typography, layout, spacing, components)
- Design complex user flows
- Rapidly prototype new ideas and validate through testing, feedback, and intuition
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to ensure pixel-perfect execution
- Use behavioral analytics (Amplitude, Mixpanel) to uncover friction points and improve UX
- Drive and maintain design quality and clarity, even in fast-paced sprints.
Core Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product design (mobile-first)
- Proven track record designing emotionally intelligent products or AI-driven tools
- Strong system thinking: ability to structure complex UX flows, handle edge cases, and build logic across screens
- Experience building and scaling design systems in Figma from the ground up
- Fluent in prototyping tools (Figma) and confident presenting ideas interactively
- Comfortable working with behavioral data to inform UX decisions
- Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and designing for diverse user needs
- Fluent communication in English; collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams
- Experience working in agile or startup environments
- Previous work in mental health, coaching, well-being, or cognitive science products
- Familiarity with AI-driven user experiences and designing for evolving logic
- Motion design skills or experience with emotionally resonant microinteractions
- Comfortable mentoring junior designers and leading design reviews
- Believe clarity is better than complexity
- See design not as decoration but as navigation through emotional context
- Know how to keep things structured — even in fast iteration and evolving product logic
- Don’t just accept briefs — you help refine them
- Care about what the user feels, not just what they see

Terms
- Location: Fully remote (preferably within GMT–5 to GMT+3)
